PAX RTS Cocoon - light - tactical

The PAX RTS Cocoon – light – tactical combines the innovative materials PAX-Rip Tec Alu and aluderm® to ensure effective heat retention by reflecting body heat. An integrated fleece can reliably absorb up to 1.5 liters of blood and other bodily fluids without returning them to the casualty, thereby significantly improving hygiene, patient protection, and operational safety. A highly visible clear pocket allows for the secure storage of casualty documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is available at the patient’s side at all times. When vacuum-packed, the material thickness is reduced to just 3 cm, allowing for particularly space-saving storage and efficient transport in standard backpack systems. For safe patient transport, the Cocoon features four carrying handles on each long side, enabling the patient to be evacuated quickly and safely.

As a medical device, the system meets the requirements of DIN EN 1865.

A removable, aluminum-coated hood optimizes head protection and reduces heat loss.

Access points on both sides, each with four zippers, allow for targeted assessment and treatment of injuries as well as monitoring of vital signs without unnecessarily disturbing the patient.

The Cocoon can be fully opened if necessary, ensuring rapid and effective medical care without the need to reposition the patient—who remains in the PAX RTS Cocoon – light – tactical from the point of injury through to definitive care.
