Every fire fighter knows that a sufficient amount of reserve hose is essential for the success of a fire in a building and for the safety of the fire fighters in the interior attack. One C-hose per floor in the stairwell - that is the simple rule in fire operations, which makes the attack squad sweat even more.
After all, the hose material for the firefighting attack has to be transported to the upper floor by means of a carrying basket. In addition, there is the necessary hose package for the actual internal attack. With the high-rise hose bag, PAX Bags has developed a comfortable solution that reduces the workload of the fire-fighting team and makes the fire-fighters' approach more ergonomic.
Intuitive work in corridors and stairwells
The hose bag from PAX Bags was designed for use in building fires, from detached houses to high-rise buildings. It offers comfortable space for a C-hose including C-hollow jet pipe or optional shut-off device.
The hose material carried with it thus expands the possibilities of the hose basket in order to be able to safely fight fires inside the building and rescue people with sufficient hose reserves. Especially when the size of the flat fire is not yet foreseeable, additional hose material at the smoke line is important.
Particularly practical is the integrated inner pocket in which, for example, PAX Velcro straps for hose packages or rope hose holders for fastening the hose material in the stairwell eye or in the stairwell can be stored. This means that hose holders no longer have to be carried in the firefighter's clothing, making it impossible to forget them.
No more chaos in front of the fire apartment
In the robust carrying bag with the proven PAX quality, the reserve hose is optimally protected at all times. At the same time, the signal red colour guarantees that the material is optimally visible in the hectic of the operation, even in poor visibility. Especially in the hose chaos in front of the fire flat, the additional hose length is thus immediately within reach and not buried under an already filled hose.
Tactically, the equipment offers two options for use: Equipped with a shut-off device, the carrying bag serves as a necessary extension for the deployed contents of the hose basket, to which the actual hose package for the firefighting attack can be coupled. Equipped with the C hollow jet pipe, on the other hand, the PAX hose carrier bag can be a practical alternative to classic hose packs.
Additional options for building fires
No matter whether it is a simple flat fire on the third floor or a high-rise fire: In order to get to the fire area, the attack squad has to bring the material for extinguishing the fire and rescuing people to the scene of the incident with great physical effort. The practical shoulder strap makes transporting the hose reserve child's play. The times when a bulky hose package had to be carried over the shoulder are over.
With the PAX High-Rise Hose Bag, rescuers have their hands free and no longer have to balance anything on their shoulder or carry hose packs on their SCBAs. This not only facilitates the procedure in stairwells and corridors, but also makes it possible to transport additional material for rescuing people or fighting fires in the initial attack, if necessary. Thanks to its compact shape, the bag can also be loaded into the fire engine in a space-saving manner and is thus directly accessible in the event of a house fire.
