PAX Stretcher Mattress - TMS with temperature management system

The PAX Stretcher Mattress - TMS has been designed to ensure that patients are as comfortable as possible during transport. It attaches to the stretcher and is held in place by the patient belt system.

For proper operation of the PAX stretcher mattress, a PAX TMS Power Pack as well as the PAX TMS 220V charger are required.

The heating system can be switched on well before reaching the destination, providing a pleasant added benefit that is not limited to the cold season.
Body temperature is one of the most fundamental vital signs of the human body. When a patient is placed on the preheated, heatable PAX Stretcher Mattress - TMS, they immediately experience its pleasant warmth.

The aim is to provide the patient with warmth effectively through the active preheating or immediate heating of the pad. An efficient heat supply increases the patient's well-being and, at the same time, conveys a noticeable degree of care and humanity in an emergency situation.

Quick overview (Quick Facts)

System check

• Briefly press the power button
• Solid green light → battery fully charged
• Flashing green light → battery between 75% and 35%
• Solid red light → battery below 35% (no need to worry, approx. 2 × 45 minutes remaining)
• Flashing red light → system defect

Start-up

• Press the power button for 2 seconds
• System starts in maximum heating mode (40 °C)
• Press again to reduce to 36 °C
• Press again to reduce to 32 °C

Operation

• Temperature is reached after 2–3 minutes
• Important: only when the patient is lying on the pad (heat build-up)
• Temperature is monitored by sensors
• The system switches off automatically after 45 minutes

Runtime / charging time (battery)

• At -10 °C approx. 3.5 hours runtime (average 75 kg patient) at highest heating level; heavier patients accordingly longer
• Charging time of an empty battery: approx. 3 hours at 220 V

Cleaning

• When the system is closed, it is water and splash resistant
