PAX vacuum splints – ergonomic for patients and emergency teams
In confined spaces and with patients in severe pain, every move counts. Our vacuum splints can be adjusted directly without major repositioning – without additional stress for the patient.
Whether for fractures, dislocations or severe bruising, the EPS bead filling distributes evenly around the injured limb during moulding. The air is then extracted using a suitable pump, and the splint hardens in the selected position. This creates a stable, pressure-free fixation that reduces pain and prevents movement. Painful movements or secondary injuries are specifically prevented.

Material and hygiene – for the highest rescue standards
Our vacuum splints are made from durable, resistant materials. The surface is easy to clean and can be disinfected – ideal for daily use. The closed-pore surfaces and the absence of Velcro systems in particular ensure better hygiene. The splints can be stored compactly in transport bags and thus remain ready for use at all times.

To ensure that no equipment is ‘lost’: on request, we can label your PAX vacuum splints with a logo, text or organisational identification – using a format template and permanently welded or with customer-specific cards.

Damage after use or transport? We offer special repair stickers for minor leaks. For more serious problems, our certified repair service ensures that your vacuum rails are repaired in accordance with regulations – quickly, sustainably and in compliance with MDR.

Intended purpose of the product group:
Immobilisation in the event of injuries and illnesses
According to Annex VIII, Rule 1 MDR, all products in the product group are Class 1 medical devices. The applicable essential safety and performance requirements according to Annex I MDR are met. A conformity assessment procedure according to Annex II & III MDR has been carried out.

Die PAX Vakuummatratzen werden mit unseren Standardgurten in fünf verschiedenen Farben ausgeliefert. Die Farben korrespondieren mit den Farben der Gurtverschlüsse, um im Einsatz die Patientensicherung zu vereinfachen. Die Standardgurte sind unbeschichtet und können gewaschen oder getauscht werden. Alternativ bieten wir beschichtete Gurte, die sich gut abwischen und desinfizieren lassen. Unsere PAX Vakuummatratzen PAX Mummy und PAX Ergo bieten wir in zwei verschiedenen Griffoptionen an. Zur Auswahl stehen eine durchgehende Griffleiste oder einschlaufbare Einzelgriffe.
