PAX Vakuummatratze - Mummy-Mat - Handles - TMS
The shape of the PAX Mummy-Mat vacuum mattress is aligned to the human body shape resulting in an oversized „V“. The „V“-oversize allows an improved securing of the patient. The vacuum mattress can be modulated around the patient’s body covering the complete torso. The patient is secured with the help of the colour-coded straps.
The strap and carrying loop eyelets are welded from the inside to facilitate cleaning and ensure a smooth surface. The material of the carrying handles is completely closed-cell.
The snap buckles are attached to the sides of the mattress to prevent pressure points on the patient. A customizable strap extension and the matching carrying bag are included with the delivery.
This PAX vacuum mattress is equipped with the Temperature Management System. This component is highlighted in red, and the battery is located beneath the headrest.
The product is shipped without the PAX battery.
All PAX vacuum mattresses from the standard range are supplied with fastening straps made of TPU
Quick overview (Quick Facts)
System check
- Briefly press the power button
- Solid green light → battery fully charged
- Flashing green light → battery between 75% and 35%
- Solid red light → battery below 35% (no need to worry, approx. 2 × 45 minutes remaining)
- Flashing red light → system defect
Start-up
- Press the power button for 2 seconds
- System starts in maximum heating mode (40 °C)
- Press again to reduce to 36 °C
- Press again to reduce to 32 °C
Operation
- Temperature is reached after 2–3 minutes
- Important: only when the patient is lying on the pad (heat build-up)
- Temperature is monitored by sensors
- The system switches off automatically after 45 minutes
Runtime / charging time (battery)
- At -10 °C approx. 3.5 hours runtime (average 75 kg patient) at highest heating level; heavier patients accordingly longer
- Charging time of an empty battery: approx. 3 hours at 220 V
Cleaning
- When the system is closed, it is water and splash resistant
