PAX vacuum mattress - Mummy-Mat - Handles
This version of the PAX vacuum mattress – Mummy-Mat – with handles is identical in construction to the version with a handle strip, but features loops for carrying. With the PAX vacuum mattress – Mummy-Mat – with handles, we have modelled the design on the shape of the body, forming it into an oversized ‘V’. The extra width of the ‘V’ shape, due to the greater span from the pelvis onwards, allows for improved patient securing. It can be moulded around the patient beyond the sides; the patient is secured or restrained using the colour-coded restraint straps. The strap and carrying loop eyelets are heat-sealed from the inside to facilitate easier cleaning and to ensure a smooth surface.
The material of the carrying handles is completely closed-cell. The snap buckles are fitted to the sides of the mattress to prevent pressure sores on the patient. A customisable strap extension and the matching carry bag are included as standard.
