AK MedTec becomes PAX-Bags

We are very pleased to announce an important change today:

Andreas Körner, founder and managing director of AK MedTec GmbH, is now working for X-CEN-TEK GmbH & Co. KG and the brand PAX-Bags.

AK MedTec GmbH will cease business operations on October 31, 2025.

Andreas Körner brings with him more than 35 years of experience in emergency medical services – as a paramedic, developer of innovative medical technology, and pioneer in the field of hypothermia products. In 2018, he founded AK MedTec GmbH and, among other achievements, developed the first heated stretcher pads and vacuum mattresses, which are now successfully in use by numerous organizations.

With his expertise, commitment, and passion, Andreas Körner will continue to specifically advance and expand the PAX product portfolio in the field of temperature management.
