PAX Vacuum mattress – Ergo-Mat – handles – TMS

The PAX Ergo-Mat vacuum mattress is the flagship model in the PAX range of vacuum mattresses. In addition to its anatomical V-shaped cut, it features an attached head section that allows the patient straps on the vehicle stretcher to be used without any problems. Quick overview (Quick Facts)

System check

• Briefly press the power button
• Solid green light → battery fully charged
• Flashing green light → battery between 75% and 35%
• Solid red light → battery below 35% (no need to worry, approx. 2 × 45 minutes remaining)
• Flashing red light → system defect

Start-up

• Press the power button for 2 seconds
• System starts in maximum heating mode (40 °C)
• Press again to reduce to 36 °C
• Press again to reduce to 32 °C

Operation

• Temperature is reached after 2–3 minutes
• Important: only when the patient is lying on the pad (heat build-up)
• Temperature is monitored by sensors
• The system switches off automatically after 45 minutes

Runtime / charging time (battery)

• At -10 °C approx. 3.5 hours runtime (average 75 kg patient) at highest heating level; heavier patients accordingly longer
• Charging time of an empty battery: approx. 3 hours at 220 V

Cleaning

• When the system is closed, it is water and splash resistant
